The volunteers of WOBO thank you for your help and support.
WOBO
offers Big Bands, Bluegrass, Country, Gospel, Celtic, Scottish,
German, Sports, Classics, and much more. WOBO is truly listener supported; WOBO receives no federal, state, or local tax money, and is not associated with a college, or university. WOBO is a labor of love for all of our volunteers, trustees, and officers. Some of our volunteers have gone on to professional careers in broadcasting, while others have joined the WOBO staff after a career in professional broadcasting. Our 30+ volunteers come from all walks of life: housewives, factory workers, lawyers, educators, farmers, engineers, musicians, and many others. They elect the trustees and officers who manage the station without compensation.
