WOBO's own Tim Strong is conducting a bluegrass workshop at the Appalachian Festival

On Saturday, May 7th Tim Strong will be conducting a bluegrass workshop during the Appalachian Festival.  Tim is lining up a growing list of local professional bluegrass musicians to help with one on one and group instruction. Anyone bring an instrument and registering at the southwest gate will be given access to workshop and those 16 and under that bring an instrument will enjoy free admission.  More information at www.appalachianfestival.org

Beginning Monday, April 18th Chris Kelly will be taking over Drive Time Bluegrass every Monday afternoon from 4pm to 8pm.  Don't worry, Chris will still be hosting Bluegrass Showcase every Saturday morning from 8am to noon.  

On Thursday, April 21st  Rob Moore will be moving from Sunday Evening Bluegrass to Thursday afternoons from 4pm to 8pm.  Rob will be playing you a mix of country and bluegrass so be sure to tune in and welcome Rob to Thursdays.


On Sunday, May 1st WOBO will begin broadcasting Cincy Sounds.  The show will air every Sunday from 4pm - 6pm and will be hosted by Monica.  Cincy Sounds will feature live local bands of various genres.  If your group would like to be a guest on Cincy Sounds please send an email to cincysounds@wobofm.org.
